Il “Convegno Volta” del 1932 rappresenta il primo tentativo del regime di esplorare l’idea di Europa e dare sostanza a un progetto di fascismo universale teso a unificare il continente sotto una visione del mondo in continuità con la Roma imperiale e in opposizione con le idee liberal-democratiche. Attraverso l’analisi di paper presentati durante la Conferenza, questo contributo cerca di ricostruire il progetto di Europa fascista. Lo studio analizza il sistema di convergenze e divergenze che emergeva durante l’evento.
The “Convegno Volta” of 1932 represents the regime’s first attempt to explore the idea of Europe and give substance to a project of universal fascism aimed at unifying the Continent under a worldview in continuity with Imperial Rome and in opposition to liberal-democratic ideas. Through an analysis of the papers presented at the conference, this contribution seeks to reconstruct the project of a fascist Europe. The study investigates the system of ideological convergences and divergences that emerged during the event.
