At the origins of asking. Philosophy and politics in the first Veca.

Abstract

Il presente lavoro è una ricerca sulla filosofia di Salvatore Veca che analizza gli inizi della sua opera. Per costruire la seguente ricerca, mi concentro sul primo libro di Veca intitolato Fondazione e modalità in Kant (1969). Il filosofo è infatti un profondo studioso di Immanuel Kant, e non solo, come ben sappiamo, delle teorie della giustizia normativa. Il mio saggio si propone di analizzare questa riflessione su Kant, sottolineando il complesso rapporto tra Veca e Kant e le conseguenze filosofiche sul pensiero politico di Veca.

This paper is a research on the philosophy of Salvatore Veca looking at the beginning of his work. To construct the following research, I focus on the first book of Veca called Fondazione e modalità in Kant (1969). In fact, the philosopher is a profound scholar of Immanuel Kant, and not only, as we well Know, of the theories of normative justice. The aim of my essay is to analyze this reflection on Kant, underlining the complex relationship between Veca and Kant and the philosophical consequences on Veca’s political thought.
